- People often think that exotic fruits like kiwi can't be grown here in the UK, but that couldn't be further from the truth! Varieties like 'Solo' will happily grow here in Britain, provided that they're given a sunny and sheltered position
- With fruits that mature and ripen ready to be picked at the start of the year, these fuzzy brown flavour grenades are brilliant for eating fresh, tossing in fruit salads, blitzing in smoothies or making a zingy kiwi lime pie
- Naturally energetic and vigorous in terms of its growth, 'Solo' is perfect for training up a south-facing wall or trellis
- With fruits as impressive and delicious as they are, the flowers would have to be pretty special to come close... But special is exactly what they are! Scented, creamy flowers with bright yellow stamens wreath the plant from late spring to early summer, instantly elevating any space they're found in

How To Grow
Excellent pest and disease resistance
Rarely impacted by pests or disease.
Water regularly
Regular watering will help your kiwi vine develop well and fruit better, and is especially important for the first couple of years post-planting.
Full sun
Best fruiting will occur when the vine receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day (a sheltered spot is also recommended).
Any moist, well-drained soil
Grow your kiwi vine in soil that drains well as waterlogged conditions can lead to root rot.
Feed every spring
Consider applying a fertiliser that's high in potassium as growth commences during the springtime. Before this, in winter, mulch your vine well with rotted manure.

How do I know I'm getting quality plants?
All of our plants are grown in specialist nurseries with the highest standards of plant care and sustainability. We guarantee you'll love them as much as we do! Don't just take our word for it - we've got thousands of great reviews on Trustpilot.
When will I get my plants?
The delivery timescale for each plant is on the web page (near the 'add to basket's button). You'll receive a dispatch email with an exact delivery date once your plants are on their way, so you can get the garden ready.
How will my plants be packed and delivered?
We send all of our orders through a courier network designed to handle plants. Specialist equipment ensures that no plants will be damaged during the packing process and every order is carefully finished and checked by plant-loving humans. Your plants will arrive in the most sustainable packaging possible with minimal to no plastic used.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to anywhere in Mainland UK for our standard delivery cost. We are able to deliver most plants to Highlands and non UK mainland however this will be at an additional cost. This will be calculated at the checkout. Please note, deliveries to these locations will take longer. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland at present.
